Riofavara Moscato di Noto Mizzica

As would be expected from a hot climate Moscato di Noto, dandelion yellow in color. Just a touch hazy and a bit of stink over the Muscat character in the nose. Yet the wine has great acidity, strong varietal character and a lengthy, dry, zippy finish. Still very fresh and a super value!

A very surprisingly dry Moscato from Sicily. Medium golden color in the glass with mild aromas of lemons and possibly sweet grapefruit. On the palate, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with flavor notes mirroring the wine’s aromas. This is a dry and slightly acidic white wine with pleasant flavors.

Really an exciting wine - all the floral and orchard fruit notes of Moscato but bone dry. Without the residual sugar this Moscato has laser like acidity and powerful freshness. Will be one I seek out again.
