Needs air. Creamy, rich, buttery, but with a cool, mineral core, that gives a good lift at the end with persistant citrus notes. Better in 2-3 years, I think.

Blend of 94% Chardonnay with 4% Viognier and 2% of Sauvignon Blanc. Fermented in oak of various sizes with ambient yeasts followed by 9 months of ageing on its lees. Youthful nose, fragrant and minerally. Honeyed with an array of citrus aromas and orchard fruit. Fresh and lifted with good concentration and a persistent finish.

The Wines of Manincor (Alto Adige) (San Francisco Wine Trading Company) : Deep yellow. Buttery nose. Rich, toasty popcorn with some orange zest behind the oak. Quite New World in style, although there is some minerality later. Bleh.
