Dark cherry-red. Gamey, cured and smoked meat as well as herbs. Mortadella came first to my mind. Present but not ovetly aggressive tannins, a bit fleshy in the fruit profile with dark red fruits and a bit meaty palate. Not extremely deep but far from simple and generic. Definitely its own.

Pretty to the eyes but prettier to the nose. I could smell this thing all day long. Blackberry, cherry, cedar, spiced cinnamon and nutmeg. Elegant until the Syrah giveaways - olives, black marker, great, dense chew with a gravely granite finish.
