Annesanti Umbria Salto del Cieco

Fantastic blend of mostly Merlot, with ~ 30% Barbera; the soil is silt and clay. This was opened in the morning, cork out, and tasted at dinner. Organically farmed, and raised entirely in stainless, this is such a fun, buoyant wine that pleases the nose, palate, and mind alike. Understated, elegant, and really delicious.
