Murphy-Goode Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley

This was served by a friend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, this was a good winery when Tim had it and it is in different hands that are under pressure to pay back their purchase price. Nothing stellar but it is more than just a nice journeyman affordable Cabernet, it is a real value. Cheers to all on a Wednesday night.

Deep red in color with ample raspberry aroma. Medium bodied and good raspberry flavor. Well balanced but finish quickly fade. Soft tannins and acidity. However I like that wine as a week day drink. Goes well with pasta.
