quite good, actually and not at all what I expected. I expected more earth and dryness and got fruit, smoothness, some floral, and just a bit of tannin. great price, good wine.

Wonderful old world style blend. Notes of amarone, sweet baking spices, dried fruit, lots of vanilla, wonderful example of a complex Argentinean wine. Paired with a delicious meat lasagna. Would strongly recommend this wine.

I tasted this at the winery in Mendoza last January (one of the prettiest estates anywhere, btw) and it wasn't for me; too oaky. Opened a bottle at the bbq we had with Pete/Marissa and Mike/Marina and . . . wow! This has really come together and the oak has been absorbed nicely. Very smooth, silky mouthfeel, good purity of fruit, well proportioned and a palate that is restrained and classy, rather than oaky and gloppy. Impressive improvement over the …
