Dunkles Rubin mit bläulichem Schimmer. Kreidig, kleine rote Beeren, konzentriert, kratzige Tanine; braucht viel Luft. Etwas ungestüm; sehr ungewöhnlich für reinsortigen Merlot; adstringierend im Mund und leicht bitter im Abgang. Empfiehlt sich zu kräftigem Essen.

16/20 Rubis violacé moyen. Nez aux notes animales, sauvage, bran de scis et petits fruits rouges Frais et fruité en bouche, bonne acidité Un Bordeaux assez différent: agréable et quasi léger qui se cache sous un emballage avec une bouteille bourguignonne J’aimerais plus de profondeur, plus de structure…. Qu’est-ce qu’on tente d’imiter avec ces caractéristiques ? Ne plus acheter toutefois…..

100% Merlot from a vineyard cultivated in biodynamics - the wine is Demeter-certified - and aged in terracotta amphora. The nose is loaded with black cherries, peppermint, liquorice, violets and expressive chalk. The palate is medium-bodied and round, supported by fine-grained tannins and a destabilizing chalky minerality. I even double-checked the label to be reassured about the origin of this stuff.
