3rd Annual Open the Bottle Night - A little dissappointing given my experience with previous releases. The 07 is tight on the nose and earthy while exhibiting heavy tannins on the palate. Seemed to be lacking balance. Maybe 2 hour decant was not enough given the youth of this wine. This was the one wine that had the most varied response on the night. I hope it will improve with time as has the 06.

Big bold fruit forward cabernet with chocolate and vanilla on the finish. It was a little tight considering I drank it pop and pour, but still an excellent bottle.
