Definitely a bit past its drink by, but still a nice, big, fruit heavy Syrah. Agree with other tasting notes - dark fruit, balsamic, less structure than I would expected. Still impressive after all these years.

This one need a lot more air to open up. More fruit forward after a lot of air- 4+ hours. Wine started off boozy, but that left after 60 minutes. No real secondary notes and a big fruit Syrah. With proper storage these still have some life left and are fun to try.

This is in a great spot and drinking like a good aged Syrah. Had some cab like aspects (tobacco) and hints of balsamic. Was very happy with this one on Auction. Good meat, iodine and plack pepper. The fruit was there but no longer on the front stage.

PnP. Deep dark. Dark fruit. Opened up nicely after 30 min. Fairly long finish.

Ripe, rich and fleshy red raspberry take center stage, with red licorice and beef stock, notable, but in a supporting role. Still maintaining fine continuity, all the lively flavors are folded in on a backdrop of black peppercorn framed tannins. A beam of mocha runs through the middle with a touch of …

This was opened in Dubai while on vacation. A beautiful effort! Deep dark color, intense nose, very balanced, and viscous. A voluptuous wine. Drinking in it's prime now.
