Agree with recent notes. Drinking well with good acid and balance. Fruit is fading a bit. Drink or hold a few more years.

Outstanding blend. Still fruit forward with dark fruit dominating. Minerals, earth, and plum nose. Great balance and structure. Open an hour before drinking.

Deep purple red color. Drinking beautifully right now. Black cherries, herbs, mint and floral in the nose with chocolate notes and hints of spice and earthiness. Black cherries, black raspberries, blueberries and chocolate in the flavor. A rich, elegant wine with nice acidity, well balanced, full bodied and a medium to long smooth finish.

Super disappointed- both bottles fizzy due to secondary fermentation from some type of contamination. Not acceptable for a $90 bottle… Apparently not an isolated issue - see previous review from @paulkokinakes.

Had an odd malo nose but tasted fine, just not up to usual snuff.

We are a fan of Linne and we have 52 bottles in our cellar, cellared 4 years at 58º. Just opened 2 bottles of 18 Perfectionist and both are undrinkable. Fizzy with second fermentation. Disappointed.

PnP but definitely better after 15-20 minutes of air. In the glass it was a dark violet color, and there were lots of dark fruits on the nose. The medium plus bodied palate showed a bowl of purple fruits: mostly blue from the Syrah (77%), with some red from the Grenache (12%),and some black from the Mourvedre (11%). These were joined by lots of spice, some earth notes and just touches of chocolate and cedar. The tannins were resolved, and …

A nose of bold dark fruits and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied Rhone blend, with black cherry, raspberry, minerals and spice on finish, drink now. www.winelx.com

This is a very enjoyable Syrah based GSM from Paso Robles. Showing black fruits with earth, wood, spices, dark chocolates, vegetables, tobacco, peppercorn and espresso. Pretty nose of wild flowers. Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, as it it not as approachable right out of the bottle, so take your time. Good by itself or with food. Delicious now. A blend of 77% Syrah, 12% Grenache and 11% …

I poured the first half into a half bottle for night two before filling night ones glass. There was cloudy sediment that didnt filter out completely after a couple trys. Nice color and smelled inviting. Tasted pleasant but kinda washed out. The texture of the sediment was bothersome though. Overall disappointing. Night two was better, sediment was very minimal and appearance was remarkably better. Nose was tight and focused and the grip of the Grenache came through on thie finish. …

No improvement. Simple, short, overripe wine. Yeccchh. Clipped finish. Horrible QPR. I purchased 4 bottles on a review. Never again. Apparently no longevity, drink up.

Deacanted & consumed over the next five hours. It never quite opened up or settled down enough to where the alcohol wasnt predominant. Clearly has good fruit & the components of a good wine are there . . . Just a bit unbalanced.

Heavy and ripe with decent acidity Not in pursuit of balance, but extraction and points. If you like that style you may enjoy it.

Dark red to light purple. Tobacco, minerals, pomegranate on the nose. I was surprised about the 77% Syrah since for me Grenache flavors took center stage. Nice balance of fruits, acidity and savory flavors. Bought at K&L in Redwood City. Drank with grilled fillet. Pretty much PNP, did not have a decanter available in the VRBO. With additional air time it did flesh out and integrate better.

Held up well, wasnt blown away but I did really enjoy this. Dark raspberry, med acid, tannins have mellowed. Would have guess more Grenache based than Syrah. Pretty mellow

PnP, but opened up throughout the meal. Suggest a decant of 1/2 hour or longer. A palate showing plenty of red fruits, dark cherry, some cedar, earth, spice, and resolved tannins. All this in a medium bodied, bracingly acidic wine that should hold for many years.

Dark ruby but not opaque. More fruit forward than savory with ripe blueberry compote and a bit of earthiness. Supple textures with integrated tannins and lower acidity. A ripe and tasty Central Coast Rhone blend.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, cranberry, red currant and cherry. It tastes like strawberry, red currant and cherry. The body is light/medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

2012 Paso Robles Syrahs and Syrah Blends (Jeff K's.) : Purple/ruby in color. The nose is tight with clay and black raspberries. Sweet black raspberry fruit on the palate. Nice undertones of earthiness. Easy to drink with some complexity.

Aromas of spice, vanilla and red fruit. Full-bodied with firm, sweet tannins and flavors of vanilla and dark fruit turning to red fruit- raspberry and currant jam, as well as spice and mineral qualities on the finish. Carries the alcohol well.
