David Hill Riesling Estate

David Hill 50th Anniversary Tasting (David Hill Vineyards) : Good scents of flowers, stones, and yellow apples appear. The apple flavors show first when tasted, and its presence is pretty modest on contact. A touch of floral flavors show themselves early, and lime acidity rises to dry well on the finish.

This is very crisp and would be much better (I think and hope) if it was cold. The vineyard served it room temperature. The had none chilled when we showed up for the tasting.

Very lite color, has a short finish.

Nice apple fruit here, pretty mellow across the board but with good late hitting acids. Great wine at the price point, doesn't come on to strong but isn't a wet noodle either. I liked this better after it had been open a day in the fridge.
