shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week and the beginning of the holiday weekend. unfortunately, despite proper storage and intact cork, this bottle was extremely oxidized. caramel/golden color. tastes like sherry. unable to discern any of the fruitiness which was evident a few years ago. should have heeded statement at producer's website that wine can be enjoyed two to three years past the vintage. will attend to remaining bottle asap. as the eternal …

shared with pat at selkirk manor. paired with sushi from la bella. golden color. honey on the nose. sweet finish. dessert style. this probably relates to grapes being dried on the vine before picking yielding maximum sugar. still, i believe this wine was intended to be enjoyed earlier. i don't recall so much sweetness when originally tasted at the point of purchase. drink up.
