One hour decant. Deep dark purple color. Nose has blackberry, black cherry with floral and oak notes. Juicy ripe black berries and stone fruits hit the palate along with earthy notes, spice and cedar. Medium acid is very appealing and ripe velvety tannins make for a lovely long finish. Very nice now and for years to come.

The 2018 is seductively balsamic in the glass, mixing black currants and grilled herbs with hints of mocha and flowery underbrush. This is racy and lean yet well-muscled, with vibrant black fruits and exotic spice accentuated by a core of zesty acidity that adds a youthful approachability.
