(15,5/20) My first Pinella. Never had this variety before, which is a shame according to the Slovenian locals here. Comes across as similar to Sauvignon Blanc with a slightly more dense structure. I like it! Medium+ intense aromas of gooseberry, white grapefruit, pear, lemon zest, honeydew melon, grass, blossom, almond, biscuit, wet stone. Dry wine, high acidity, light body, medium+ flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 13% ABV - served @ Maestoso, Lipica, Slovenia
