Elegance and poise, vibes of fancy bookstore in late autumn. Whole bunch ferment, only aged oak used. The only Carrodus in the vintage, and typically quite appealing. A Medium- bodied wine with citrus, peach & saline primary, cedar secondary and no tertiary flavours, Medium+ acid, no tannin and High (14%) alcohol. We rated this wine Very Good.

Complex, lively aromas. No oiliness. Ditto palate. Good acid. Very elegant.

Mornington & Yarra Valley Trip Jan 2018; 3/31/2021-4/2/2021 : $160 white flower, milk bottles, sweet. Dusty, not cloying, not anything really. Fruit gone? Stripped. Good acid flow underneath. But corked

Yarra Yering vintage 2013 tasting (Angel Hotel, Angel Place, Sydney) : Apricot over peach, cream and slight ginger spice, there is also a rather pleasant floral top notes. In the mouth initially ripe apricot then a ginger led sweet spice zing joins in and provides palate pazazz . Pleasant enough but seems to drop a little short and dry on the finish. Hmm.
