Great wine and cellaring beautifully. Missing a bit through the middle and finish is my only criticism.

While the fruit is muted on this bottle, the wine is awesome. Super complex ( for the money). Reminded me of a Howell mountain Cade from 2010 era. Not too bold. A bit dusty and minerality.

Impressive for the price, very dark almost black, plum dark berries and tobacco on the nose, wonderful balance, dark fruit and lush on the palate, loved it.

Balanced. Soft tannins. Muted but present fruit. A rare beauty.

Almost black when pouring it, dark crimson hue. Aroma of pepper, plum, sawdust, cumin, turmeric, grilled sausage. Wonderful mixture of sweet and dry. Full body, long finish. Strong fine tannin, not gritty. Plum, black currant, herbs, greenery. Thoroughly enjoyable. I need to find some more, can see it lasting another 8 years. This time I agree with the Halliday time frame, 2034

Nose of dusty oak and eucalyptus. Palate of primary blueberry and black fruits but more diminished now with a spicy and acid finish. The acid is quite pronounced, but hopefully the wine develops strong tertiary flavours to counter this. Perhaps in its awkward years...

Wow, hasn't this changed. Come together now, blackberry dark fruit with quality French oak and quite strong dusty tannins with a bit of an acidic finish. Powerful, elegant and long. Will cellar well if the acid holds in check as the fruit fades.

Gourmet Traveller Wine Western Australian Cabernets (Dank Street, Waterloo, Sydney) : Cream, slight vanilla, dusty spices, graphite, black currant, slightly earthy with some alcohol heat. Juicy, slightly sharp in fact with hard, and a touch unripe, tannins leaving a sense of dry bitter extract on the finish.

Quality stuff, rich smooth blackcurranty flavours. Tannin fine integrated to the point of non recognition, well balanced acid finish, just right. It is a drink now proposition, might improve with age and will test over the next decade.

Macerated for 2 weeks on the skins. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (40% new). 14,5% alcohol 6,9 g/l acidity. Annual production 200,000 bottles. Deep, quite concentrated and almost fully opaque blackish-red appearance. The nose is heavily fruit-driven yet quite dry with savory aromas of brooding dark fruit tones, ripe blackcurrant, some smoky chipotle tones, a little bit of peppery spice and a hint of cooked bell pepper. To be honest, the nose here reminds me more of …

Solid wine. May have been better with a decant or a few more years because it ended up a bit plain, but you could feel the quality of it.
