Night 1- nose is fantastic, Rhône Syrah. Peppery, savory intense. Very tannic and powerful. Little flavor profile comes through immediately. Night 2- a slight more elevated fruit but mostly same characteristics. Hold

1/6 bottle case. Easily 92 right now, more tannins to be resolved, potentially higher in future.

Dark purple color First nose and smell was incredibly irony, bloody but full bodied and beautifully textured. After a little opening the nose was a beautiful bouquet of blue fruit, pepper, bacon fat, a little cocoa nib. Just so beautifully put together. Not disjointed at all. When tasting very well integrated between fresh blueberries, blackberries, lots of plum and then the savory and peppery notes. The long finish is not just something you taste but continue to feel. About an …

Deep, dark reddish-purple color, almost opaque. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of garrigue, earthy/dusty & floral notes, pepper, olives, herbs, spices, minerals, toasty & a slight hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, with ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with herbs, pepper, spices, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks …

See previous notes. Deep ruby in glass. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Blackberries, plums, bacon fat and tar. More of the same notes with hot stone and minerality on the palate. Medium plus acidity with resolved tannins. Great balance and a finish that keeps you coming back for more. Great stuff at this price point.

Fruity and flowery style of Syrah, with less of the classic pepper and meat. Decent structural backbone, noticeably Cornas in that regard. Alcohol (14%) too prominent at first, but less so when given air. Completely gone on day two - where the wine was at its best. Would hold if I had any bottles left.

Flyer purchase The bottle List. A compelling write and price point that peaked my interest. Early to open but very enjoyable. 93+

This is a lovely Cornas that's full-bodied with authentic flavors of smoky dark berries, lavender, olive tapenade and black pepper. The texture has a lithe quality and the wine dances on the palate with an ethereal mouthfeel despite its full-flavored profile. The finish is already complex with notes of violet spice and mineral crunch. Lovely to drink now with food and it has the balance and material to age well. Off the list at Trust, S.D. 92+

Medium plus intensity on the nose. Medium plus body. Blueberry, blackberry, violets, meat and black pepper. Lovely stuff. Medium acidity and medium plus tannins that still need time to resolve. Classy finish. Well balanced and light on its feet. I will hold my remaining bottles for at least 1-2 more years.

Early days here and this could have used a decent decant. Still a very nice wine now with some air. A little tight, some wild blackberry and eucalyptus, some herbal and licorice in the back. It bounces around a bit with high tones then olive. Some volatility on the nose. For a while it showed a touch hot on the backend. All of these scattered notes add up to a wine that should lay down for at least another 2-3 …

Drank at a restaurant a few weeks ago so limited notes. Menu decant. Big inky very tasty wine. A big hit with everyone at the table—all photographed it and wanted to buy more.

Thought this was really good with a long life ahead. Love that stoney/minerally acidity. Blackberry and cherry, mineral, spice, dark cherry, florals. Real focus and line with medium plus length. Very enjoyable.
