red, brick edge with lots of dust. Sour cherry, almond, cough medicine and pippy nose. Medium body, with well resolved tannin displaying cherry syrup and baking spice flavours. Good length on the finish. Good and typical. not fading.

The cork broke as I tried to remove it with an ah-so silent butler. Despite a dubious beginning, the wine drank ok, not great or even very good. Still retained faint scents of a nebbiolo leathery nose, although not as pronounced as past bottles. Cathy and I had it with two Cheesecake Factory leftover pasta dishes. I liked it, she didn't. One more left; definitely not for holding onto.

Cork in perfect condition. Deep ruby, no signs of bricking. Lots of life left in this bottle. Nebbiolo descriptors of tar and roses fit well. High acid, ropey tannin, cola and sour cherry fruit. This could do with a bit more fruit, but has the structure to age further. (91 Very good wine)

A big surprice. Still good and with that Nebbiolo touch. Mature leather and fruit.

Deep purple, dense flavors ... Hints of licorice, bold up front with a very smooth finish.

Difficult. Very tart when opened and decanter for about 2 hrs. Day two was improved but still a bit sour. Unsure if a bad bottle or not.

Possibly very mildy corked. Was a little disappointing on nose. Nice and savoury. Reasonable intensity and varietal expression.

We had two bottles of this wine during dinner. Both bottles where opened 4 hours in advance. One bottle was showing great (see notes below) the other one was slightly off and I would rate it 3-4pts below the other bottle. Light ruby color, no sign of bricking yet. Full and evolving aromas of blackberry, blueberry, coffee some hints of rose petals, cedar and wet earth. Following trough full bodied on the palate with a great acidity balance and refined, …

Very good, just a little unexciting. Opens with dried rose petal, sour black cherry, plum, dusty herbs, hints of cedar, aniseed and almonds. Intense yet delicate, chewy, very persistent and fragrant; just not overly complex.

I love this wine with velvety tannins and a smell and taste of blackberry, raspberry and spices.

Drank at Giotto for Adrianne's 54th. Excellent with significant tannin structure and nice round flavor profile.

Drank with Adrianne at Fascino. Very dry and full bodied. Not fruity and nice earth flavors. My kind of wine. We both loved it.

This has an amazing bouquet. The nose alone is worth the price. Still very concentrated, and somewhat tannic, but drinking nicely. This has life ahead of it.

wasn't crazy about it. Lead pencil was there, a little glycerin, but I didn't get any of the tar or roses. Not the blockbuster I had hoped for.

Young but very forward nose of cedar, licorice, blackberry, black cherry and tar. Weighty palate, tannins are there but balanced by the weight of deep fruit. Long and intense, this is looking good now, but should be better in another 5 years or so.
