Still dense blueish color Rich fruity nose with blueberries, cherries, chocolate, and a touch of slate. Balanced fruity taste (blueberries, blackberries) soft but present tannins, a meaty, balanced acidity. Very positive surprise!

PnP. Very harsh, almost unfriendly wine. This barely features any fruitiness, maybe some dry dark plums. This wants to be a wine fully supported by its structure but also the medium light tannins feel a little green and incomplete. Hardly finished one glass. Maybe this needs time?

Lovely wine. Soft with blue fruits touches of spice and some fine tannins that have a slight bite on the back end. Super drinkable and at the same time elegant enough to hold your attention. Though it comes across as low acid and is not tannic, it has real structure, like an underlying stone minerality. PnP at a restaurant. This is 60% Blaufraenkisch, 30% Zweigelt, 10% St. Laurent. 13.5% abv. A fruit-driven, balanced, and harmonious wine. Ripe berries, forest scents, red fruits, touches of spice. Overall, such an enjoyable wine.

Bright red fruit smell, some orange peel, bit of cinnamon. Medium bodied, high acid. Rich fruit in the mouth. Long fresh finish. Very good.
