A private lunch (Restaurant Librije's Zusje **, Amsterdam, NL) : Lovely balance of juicy fruit, slightly resinous oak and freshness; elegant but with nice intensity and length.

Bright straw color. Medium nose, mineral and fruity with floral notes. On the palate is very fresh and mild with predominant citrus flavour over minerality. Original blend, on mouth pleases greatly. I have not noticed the effect of barrel ageing nor bitterness, and the acidity, is fair enough. The finish is long, quite long. Aftertaste is great.

Delicious alternative to chardonnay. Not blockbuster, but rather a subtle expression of lime tinged chalky yellow fruits, with a hint of almond. Refreshing, tasty, and perfect with gnocchi in brown butter.
