White and gold peach along with pineapple, apricot and honey notes on the nose. Medium bodied (7.5% ABV) with white peach upfront, moving to yellow and golden peach through the middle and adding apricot, mango and pineapple notes. Mid-body has a lot of richness to it and even some sweetness, but not in an overt fashion (not honied, just rich). Dufter av honning og blomster med hint av flint. Mineralsk og fersk frukt på smak med en frisk syre og nydelig balansert sødme. Lang og florlett utgang. Drikk 2017-2025.

Luftet en time i åpen flaske. Gyllen, mørk strågul i glasset. Intens lukt og smak av epler, aprikos, ananas og pakistansk mango. Snev av petroleumsnyanser i munnen, men ikke skjemmende. Nydelig, viskøs vin med medium sødme. Savner litt syre. Lang smak.

Loads of grapefruit on the nose, which carries over to the palate creating a sweet, pink grapefruit flavor. Very high acidity, which goes well with food, and not particularly sweet for a Spätlese. I think that I might like this even more in a couple years, if the acidity softens a little and allows the fruit flavors to become more prominent.

Dry riesling is not usually my thing but this was very good. Nice nose, crisp, acidic, apple, quince and grapefruit. Good complexity and good finish. Very nice wine.

Monthly tasting club LTC 2018-06; Germany - Mittel Mosel (@ MM) : Beautiful, fresh and clean bouquet with yellow apples, and minerals. On the palate tropical white fruits, beautiful balance between acidity and sweetness and pleasant bitterness.

Tasted at the winery. Delicious nose of ripe pineapple, mango, honeydew melon, peaches, and cream. On the palate the wine is dense and components are less harmonious than the 2007 vintage tried today (no surprise), with lip-puckering acidity, and long finish that ends with a touch of smoke and salinity. Needs time to integrate but should show very well once mature.

Tasting at Markus Molitor's winery (Haus Klosterberg, Wehlen, Mosel) : Φλούδα πορτοκαλιοῦ, βερίκοκο, λεμόνι κι αὐτολυτικὰ γευστικὰ χαρακτηριστικά. Ἰσορροπημένο κι εὐχάριστο, μὲ μέτρια διάρκεια. Πολὺ καλό, ἀλλὰ ἀκριβὸ γι'αὐτὸ ποὺ εἶναι.

Litt lukka på duft, men gir litt tropisk frukt i retning fersken og aprikos. Frisk først på tunga, men litt tyngre enn de andre Molitor auslesene fra 2015. Samme aprikossmak i munnen. Ender i en litt tung ettersmak som blir sittende en stund. Føles ikke som det er noe galt med flaska, så denne har nok bare ikke den samme kompleksiteten og elegansen som de andre. Tropisk frukt på duft, banan og noe litt mørkere, kanskje plomme. Sødmen dominerer i anslaget, god fylde i munnen, vokser og gir en herlig ettersmak med appelsiner en liten, delikat bitterhet. Lang. Syre/sødmebalanse som i Wurzgarten, markant mindre syre enn i Schlossberg. Går bra til både roquefort og brie.
