Fairly simple wine without much depth. Simple cherry fruit but thankfully not sweet or candied. The crisp acidity from the Sangiovese was evident, but this falls off fairly quickly without much to keep interest. Some dried herbs appear on day two, but this is, in general, shrill, tart and boring.
