After drinking a 2011 second label of a well known Napa cab with 'pine' thoughts, this was a welcome reprieve ... bigger, more flavor and more 'mouth feel'. Very enjoyable!

This bottle was tasting cloyingly sweet and not as good as previous bottles. Decanted and tasted an hour later. It looked great in the glass but was muttled on the palate ... don't know what I was tasting and didn't enjoy it like previous bottles.

Nice color in the glass. Dark fruit (black/blue plums, blackberries, etc.) on the nose and palate. Nice integration of tannins and acidity, just not there yet.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice wine! Lots going on ... pours a very dark red with lots of dark fruit (not a bomb) on the nose and palate. There's ample tannins, too, which would suggest that this still has plenty of life in it ... it should only get better. This is more a food wine than a drinking wine. We liked it!!
