The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and black currant (cassis). It tastes like oak. The body is medium/full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Having never had a Malbec from N America I have little to compare this to. No formal notes taken but this Malbec was delicious with a seamless harmony of fruit, oak and acidity. It is drinking well now and has the ability to last another 3-4 yrs with ease.
