Goosecross Cellars Merlot

W a yummy cheese/spinach/polenta dish. Good combo. I think this lost body and got a bit tart.still good and very nice merlot but drink up

Bright ruby rim with good color in the glass. Almost looks like a light Petit Syrah Black fruit with some oak. Cassis on the nose is really nice. Some spices are fleeting around as well. Slight smoke, leather, vanilla is starting come out as it sits in the glass Still young and needs to breath Good tannin structure about half way through that carries the black fruit across the palate.
