Very ripe, rich and concentrated, resembling F.X.Pichlers GV and Riesling Smaragds M stylistically. Wood is noticeable but very well integrated because of the denseness of the wine. Very long finish. A special style but very well done. 93+.

Fantastisch.

In my opinion a very uncharacteristic Sauvignon Blanc, mainly sourced from the ‘Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten’ vineyard (red sandstone and basalt soils). Fermented completely in wood and aged for twelve months on the fine lees in barriques. Color: dense golden yellow. Bouquet: initially a rather restrained nose, then some scents of cranberry, unripe pineapple and a lot of oaky nuances. On the palate: a bone dry, medium-bodied wine showing notes of green apple and citrus fruit, a racy acidity and pronounced oak …

Sehr lecker, exotisch, intensive Nase, untypisch für Sauvignon B.

Very ripe style of Sauvignon Blanc. The nose is quite intense, but perhaps not easy to identify as Sauvignon Blanc. The palate comes across a little clumsy and heavy. I expect a little more freshness in Sauvignon Blanc.

Complex with integrated fruits and dry herbs in an non Sauvignon Blanc style on the nose . But I really liked it! The taste was oily in an Chablis way. Long and compex taste that stayed a long time. A positive surprise

Lots of wood, yellow fruit, no green gras you'd sometimes find in other SB, well balanced. Had it before, might still be a year or two from it's beginning of the drinking window. Exited for the next one.

A dark golden color reflected in the nose with ripe flavors of white stone fruit and yeast. Minerally and cool with a broad juicy palate showing GG class. Ripe reineclaude, sweet peach, grapefruit, yuzu, along with creamy wood tones that are largely submerged by the intensity of the fruit. Absolutely no green or grassy notes like with a New Zealand SB, more in the direction of the power of Pessac Leognan (Chevalier) and the cool finesse and minerality of a …

Color: Light to medium yellow. A bit of a deeper color than usually for a SB. Nose: A bit vegetable like asparagus water. Otherwise not much going on. Mouth: More fruity on the palate. Tropical fruits and lemons. Nice acidity even though it's not that well integrated. While breathing the wine is becoming more expressive. Lean, bone-dry and very expressive. Very long finish. Only 12% alc.!
