Light burnt orange/burgundy red color. Dark red fruit, red cherry and floral notes on the nose, nose is very subtle. Very light body, and quite acidic. Mild flavor on the palate, red berries, not getting much else. Quite underwhelming for a Barolo.

Not good... thin, vinegar-ish and very likely corked as tons of sediment and actual pieces and large silvers of cork in the decanter.

Thinnest Barolo we’ve ever tasted. Off in color not much nose almost looking like wine vinegar.

Big, big, nose of black raspberry, Morello cherries, cassis, and a variety baking spices, with just a touch of cedar. Mouth is fairly subdued, but still fruit dominant with softer tannins, mild acidity, and no noticeable alcohol. Drinking well beyond its age, not sure if this is a window or early maturation. Decanted about two hours, and drank with a pork scallopini and red sauce. Definitely enjoys supporting a heartier meal.

Pop and pour and tasted with food (home-made egg fettucine in a pomodoro-basilico sauce, and then with roast tenderloin beef). Light ruby color. Nose offers floral scent and some slight balsamic glaze. Fresh and lively wine, with some sour cherry notes. Tannins nicely integrated for such a young wine. Enjoyable.
