The acid in this wine is surprising. It overpowers most of the other flavors but with a long finish pepper moved to the fore. Will be interesting to see how it drinks after a day because I’m only having 2 glasses tonight. Not a sipper. Food helps. It’s not a “bad” wine, but not one I would buy again. One of the better offerings from Frogtown, but not fabulous. It’s too acidic. The pervasive tang detracts from the other nuances. There is mineral and earthy undertones with dark stone fruit and blackberry.
