FTLOP 12th Anniversary; 7/21/2017-7/23/2017 (Seattle, Washington) : Mostly opaque with a dark purple center. Dark fruits with a hint of spirit. Dark fruit notes and some slight fig on the pallet. Unctuous mid-palate and long finish.

Drunk over the last week. When first opened, there was a rich nose, then with first tasting, deep warm notes with a long finish. The last glass was dark ripe fruit with a lot of sediment as expected. As a side note, the cork broke on opening and had to be pushed in, even though the bottle was laid down in a wine fridge for over ten years.
