Balfour Pinot Noir Gatehouse

Dark cherry on the nose, cherry blossom, quite a bit of oak spice, tobacco. Quite a bit of spicy oak here but it doesn't overpower that dark cherry and raspberry fruit. There's a real sweetness about it and not a trace of green with fine grainy tannin. This is polished and very elegant. Would love to try in a year or two when the oak has settled down a bit.
