Liked it. Restrained palate, Sangio cherry fruit and tobacco, good acidity, well balanced - not oaky, nor plump. It's rather upfront and doesn't have the concentration to go ten years in the cellar, but it's honest, not spoofed, true to its place of origin and cheap. At Compo Beach with the Tracys.

Weekly tasting group #029; A fully blind test. (@ RvD) : A year later and the wine shows itself much better. It has a transparent carmine red color. In the bouquet friendly spices, menthol, chocolate and some earthy impressions. On the palate quite much sweetness, probably from the alcohol, and in a pleasant way. There is spiciness, juicy red fruits, soft acidity and tannin and some creamy impressions. Really a nice wine. Ready now and no real hurry.

More mature than the 2009 (of course) and the good part is there is no yoghurt in this wine. Pleasant red as well as black fruits and soft tannin. Drink between now and a few years.
