This wine continues to drink very well. Still black fruits on both nose & palate together with leather, earth, caramel. It hasn’t improved since June 2022. Blend of 38% Alicante bouschet, 20% touriga nacional, 18% petit verdot, 17% syrah, 7% aragonez. Six left so will continue to monitor. Should be fine until 2030, maybe a little longer.

Still drinking very well, no real change in comments since last year. Excellent wine.

Revisited after tasting in 2018. Decanted 3 hours before tasting. Deep ruby, dark brooding wine, 14.5% alcohol. Blackberry, plums, figs, raisins, vanilla, chocolate, earthy nose. Full bodied, high tannins, medium acidity. Quite closed initially on the palate despite decanting, although it did open up in the glass after an hour or so. Similar flavours to nose. I think this still needs more time and I will give it another try in a year or two. Outstanding wine.

Ready now to enjoy with pop and pour containing dark fruit seamless finish and great food wine. Buy again good QPR

Nice - would buy more

A blend of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Syrah and Petit Verdot. Dark fruit with violets and cedar comes through on those nose. The palate is bold with lots of sweet black fruit and blueberry, cedar spice is coming through too. Still primary and one dimensional but a nice wine nonetheless, despite weighing in at 14.5%.

Dark, concentrated, well balanced. I think needs much more time, one for the cellar.

Nose: lots of dark fruit, slight oak/wood, not harsh at all and almost sweet Palate: Same as the nose, lots of dark fruit, smooth, a little bit of oak and slightly sweet. Low tannin and medium bodied. Only my preference but I wanted it to have a little bit more tannin.

Dark, inky, needs some time to open up, very interesting wine, well made.
