Monthly tasting club LTC 2013-05; Italy: Piedmont (@ MvdW) : Dark cherry fruits, plums and some vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate dark cherry fruits, cassis, a slight touch of sweetness, earthy impressions, good acidity, a bit sticky tannin and some bitterness in the finish. A well balanced wine with a good medium length.
