Black cherry, fresh mint leaves, and plums on the nose, alongside some warm gravel or embers. Smooth on the palette, integrated but existing tannin, and confirming the nose. Some pronounced sweetness on the tip of the tongue, likely from the oak. Ready to rock, but unlikely to decline for a while due to the remaining structure

Three hour double decant. Deep ruby fading to medium garnet outer edge. A bright, youthful nose of red and black plum, blackberries, campfire smoke, eucalyptus, a touch of earth, and slight gamey notes. The palate primarily shows ripe black fruits wrapped in sweet baking spices, is medium bodied, and has tannins which have softened considerably for a wine so young.

Deep red colour with some fading at the rim. Cracking nose: camphor, tobacco, touch of mint and clove, black currants, fruit just taking on a little stewed quality. Lovely texture, toasty oak notes, tannins ripe but still very present, full dark fruit, leafy note. Some violet fragrance and pencil shaving. Long finish, sweet fruit, aromatic and toasty notes mingling. Excellent wine. Polished and smooth but not soupy or bland. Perfect balance and maturity wise in a great place. Showing lots …
