I believe that this was the cuvee tasted. Medium color. Lots of lavender and herb on the nose. A burst of very jammy black cherry fruit is followed by a lot of acidity and frankly, not much else. Prickly feel suggests some VA. Very hollow mid-palate and thin finish. Curious wine with both ripe and green components but very little integration of the two.

Tasted on opening, slightly sharp. Decanted, airated and left for an hour - much better, smoother. Aromas developed well. Probably still a bit young.
