En nariz expresivo destacando la fruta como la mora y la ciruela, con especias como pimienta y ligeras notas ahumadas de tabaco. En boca mantiene una ligera acidez bien compensada, mantiene la fruta en su justa medida para invitarte a beber más. Vino original.

Tasted with the ‘17 Vignamaggio Terre di Prenzano, which is younger less expensive and lower-rated. But I liked it better than this one — but not immeasurably.

Walk around tasting. 3/6 wines of Vignamaggio. A small step up from the generic Chianti. Probably a bit due to the difficult 2014 vintage, would like to taste the 2016 in the future to see if the difference is worth the price difference from the base Chianti...

In the bouquet cherries, creamy, some toast and vanilla. Good acidity and tannin with a pleasant bite More full bodied and complex compared with the terre di Prenzano.
