A taste of south west france with Tom Ghoul (Oak Barrel, Elizabeth Street, Sydney) : A little cherry and red berry, slightly dilute red plum, tiny wet clay notes. Juicy, fleshy, tiny saline note joins the red hued fruits, tangy texture, very slight bitterness on the finish joined by slightly intrusive alcohol warmth. Otherwise okay.

A taste of south west france with Tom Ghoul (Oak Barrel, Elizabeth Street, Sydney) : Gamay + Cab Franc blend. Light pink, 2.5/10 hue. Very light, bright, fresh, not fruity on nose. Acidity fair, gentle mid to back palate, a little sweet on the back palate, flower notes. Light mouth feel. Easy to drink but not my kind of wine.
