Rene Lamy Montrachet

Light golden color, nose full of hazelnut, honey and caramel. Palate able to mirror the nose, which is also filled with lots of nuts and honey. Very ripe yet with good acids in the back. Rich and lush and full of minerals at the end. Very enjoyable and drinking extremely well now.

Seventh Annual White Truffle Dinner (Chez Weber - Chicago IL) : Ripe and powerful stone fruit aromas, starting to show evolution but in line with its age. Same fruit profile on palate with really bold spice. Fruit comes across as quite intense through middle. Finishes well but with just moderate length. Brought as a backup bottle, we added this to the flight because the Leflaive 1982 Batard was corked. I only brought it because Gregg was bringing the Sauzet 1992 …
