Alma Negra Malbec Animal

This was a gift from Argentina. A little worried it was past its window, but it was delightful. Beautiful deep color on cork and in glass. Small berry nose. Very smooth on the palate. Subtle fruit on the front with a faint sweet oak finish. Not as robust as expected but a superbly luxuriant light-medium body Malbec.
