A nice divergence away from the typical TX reds. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the Ron Yates reds...none are knocking it out of the park, but all are fairly agreeable and easy to enjoy. Very light red in the glass...fairly translucent. Muddled raspberries, dirty black cherry, oregano and spice. I like the palate on this wine as it has nice acidity and tannic backbone.
