Disjointed dark fruit, mocha, loam, vanilla. Tannins still barely present, medium finish. Minimal improvement over next couple hours, but did not hold up the next day. (Poured 1/2 into screwcap 375 ml. right after opening for the next evening.)

Still drinking well. However, it has just the hint of bell pepper, but the structure is still there.

Nose and palate of red and black berries, tobacco, and a little dust, soft tannins and long finish.

Excellent with a fillet. Nice nose a bit earthy. Great deep dark color. Should have opened a few hours before drinking as it got better as the evening wore on. My sense is it may be peaking here. Very enjoyable - thanks Jessup!

A nice everyday quaf for. Perhaps just a little past it's prime.

P/decanted/returned to bottle 6 hrs prior. Very minor fine sediment. Bright ruby/purple. Intense proper cab nose. Initially somewhat tight but opened up nicely with 15 min glass time. Typical good quality CA cab, med/full flavor intensity, med body, great balance, resolved tannins, plenty of acid, long finish. Nothing off, excellent with beef steak. Gift.

Dark ruby color, with a nose that's broken free of the primary aromas, but still finding it needs an hour of air before the secondary sails are full of wind. Sensibly full bodied, this begins pretty tight at first, with subtle aromas of grilled meat and soil, but with proper aeration, lovely scents of red currant, red plum, cedar and soil fill the air. This wine completely avoids over-ripeness/extraction, and at the same time it's got a very cool vein …

Good solid wine. Needs to breathe and warm up a bit from the cooler.

fruity, pleasant, drank like merlot The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raspberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Had at a tasting, then brought the bottle home. It sat around for a few days. At the tasting, I found it to be too young. Too tannic, and wasn't coming together. However, after a few days sitting in the bottle, it has mellowed and come together. Nose was a bit alcoholic. Notes of tobacco and chocolate. Good balance on the taste; still a little tannic. Short, slightly hot finish. Probably would not buy it.
