Still drinking well. Red cherries, raspberries and rose hip, some black pepper and spice but fresh and clean on the finish. Lovely stuff.

Dark ruby. Enticing nose with raspberry, spicy notes and pencil shavings. Blackberries, mature red fruit and earthy sensations with balance, complexity and length. Served near cellar temperature. Very good.

This was tasted blind at a Bacchus evening and, quite rightly, was voted the best on the night. Very bright ruby, translucent with an elegant aroma of fresh and floral aromas and red cherry. To taste the red cherry is there plus strawberry, spice and aniseed.

Mycket gott. Härligt djup med underbar fräschör.

Medium ruby, nose of red cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, some perfume and tree blossom. The palate has lovely red cherry and raspberry flavours, spice, cedar, aniseed, longish finish. Flavours are still primary so this has some life left in it. Nice elegant Burgundian style, very enjoyable.

Medium ruby. Nose of red cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, toast, wood spice, and still youthful. The flavour has medium intensity of red cherry and raspberry fruit, acidity and tannins are down the middle. This is drinking well now and still youthful, has couple more years of development though.

Ripe red berry fruit nose. The palate is sweet, intense raspberry fruit, easy drinking, very moreish, with a herbaceous, dried herb edge. Drinking well now but has lots of potential for future development. Winemaker told me its good for another five years or so.

Oddbods Colchester Tasting Group (Back Room, Victotia Inn) : Lifted sweet berry nose, good length. Started off simple but added complexity over 10 mins. Very pretty. 16.5
