This far exceeded our expectations. Beautiful wine. Floral with pure fruit, love the restrained wine making (and picking) on this wine. Has really come together with a few years under its belt.

My last bottle :( Opened tableside with Mr/Mrs HMC, with butter basted filet in a cognac sauce.....heavenly match with this refined and well integrated wine. Calm round tannins fully integrated with beautiful, soft red/black fruit. Very nice mouthfeel and such strikingly different horsepower from the current '18. I was part curious as to how this bottle would have performed 5 or 10 years from now, but this is simply too nice to hold that long.

Tuesday Minipalooza with Jimbo......95....but only for the first hour, when it was blue/red fruit and quite potent given the 6 years of age...the fruit was sweet and dense and extremely strong........an hour later and it turned black fruited with dense chocolate or licorice depending on your palate. PS....why is Erlich always the WOTN?

Wow! Picked this up at a discount last week....love that Ehrlich fruit! This is quite thick and jammy on the pnp....very extracted and very liqueur like. Rich cassis, dark berry fruit, good color and weight in the mouth. The nose is rich dark fruit, the taste is sweet on first sip. Over two hours in glass this wine changes dramatically. Lol......probably the WOTN tonight......we all love the Ehrlich fruit. It is dark but dense and the acidity and tannins are so well balanced with a zip or an energy that just sings. Just beautiful. We all agreed, in the entire B Cellars stable this vineyard has the greatest bang for the buck. If you bought a case or two of Ehrlich every year....you'd be in great shape!

Drank too young. Initially a Bombastic fruit driven wine with lip smacking acidity and crunchy tannins. It needs at least four hours in the decanter and a big but much better balanced wine emerges with tons of milk chocolate, cafe au lait and milk duds. Long finish.
