THis is coming around and beginning to tell me who it is. Very big still, and flavors are still primary. Yes, it's a 2012! Built to last. I'm thinking to save the last one in my small lot for another year perhaps.

I wanted to give this a 90, because it was good. But not quite great, for a few reasons, most of which were that it just felt like it was about to fall apart at any moment. It had all the elements of a great wine, but almost at every turn. Good fruit, almost great. Good integration, almost great. Acidity came on strong sometimes, in and out all night. Weird.
