Maybe only a small improvement on a bottle from last year. A good lick of fruit sweetness and that's about it. I'm thinking this should maybe be drank slightly chilled. Light bodied, bright colour and no length at all. Probably my least favourite Rockford wine (along with the White Frontinac). But it is different, so deserves credit for trying.

Not my thing. Doesn't know whether it is a dark rose or a real light bodied wine. Bit of cherry and sweetness but just doesn't do it for me. A bit of a nothing wine, and I love Rockford's wines.

Light red plum colour, not as light in colour as a Rose, probably three quarters the way between a Rose and a Pinot Noir. Medium body and length in the mouth. After taste lasts for a bit of time. Still seems to have a fair bit of tannins and probably shouldn't be drunk for another year at most. [screwcap, 12.5% alc] Remainder of bottle two days later: Held up pretty well, which I didn't expect. Tannins have quietened down significantly, …
