Hint of sulfur/reduction on nose. Palate dry with good depth of flavor and finish. But the flavors didn't hold my interest through each sip. Good balance. This is very similar to the same bottling I had years ago so it would seem a consistent style is the goal.

Intense dark garnet to violet rim. Aromas of cream, currant, cherries, bacon fat, and caramel. Medium-bodied with cherries and dried flowers. Well-integrated tannins. Solid, dry, earthy finish with plum notes, ~30s. The few bottes from this case were similarly disappointing to the bottles a few months ago (different case). Returned the remaining bottles.
