Jammy unpleasant, more like a syrupy Syrah.

Popped and poured. Tons of fruit on the nose, mostly red fruit: raspberry and some wild strawberry. On the palate, a little funk and some fruit. Over the three hours of consumption, it became MUCH more fruit dominated. Outstanding.

Juicy and powerful. Very well balanced. Sweet tannins and a long finish. Very good QPR.

Warmer Weather Wines (Farpointe Cellar) : Deep ruby. The best of the tasting. A beautiful nose of cherry, forest floor, strawberry, spice, and vanilla. Smooth and silky in the mouth, with flavors of sweet strawberry, mushroom, spice, and vanilla. Very firm tannins were represent in gthe long finish.
