Pale green gold colour Lemony nose, green apple, leesy notes moving into apple pie pastry. Very fresh, piercing acidity, with citrus fruits, limes, supported by a full creamy texture, hint of caramel. Long creamy finish, just a touch of hazelnut. Lean and fresh but not mean. Excellent with smoked salmon. This is very good for the money. £12 a bottle approx. Also that little bit of age has fleshed it out a bit but with that acidity, there’s no hurry …

Cool, green color. Racy and energetic aromatics of green apple, white flowers, lemon peel. Similar flavors on the palate, along with pear, wet stone and other mineral notes. Agree with others who found it refreshing, crisp and nicely acidic. Slightly creamy finish. Sort of a cross between a Macon Villages (without the sour finish) and a New World Sauvignon Blanc. Lovely acidity, already opening up a bit when compared to when I last tasted it.

Medium nose shows green apple, nice floral tones, white flowers, dried lemon, fresh spice. Palate is similar, green apple tones, white pear, a dried honeycomb note, strong minerality, limestone notes, nicely crisp. Linear style, acidity medium plus, finishes very nice. Very good QPR, cool style, different for Chard.
