Over-oaked for me.

Wow super smooth. Cork broke up able to remove nicely. Beautiful red cock. Wine drinks lovely for sitting so long in the wine fridge. Wow very happy.

Still drinking well with good structure but smooth mouth -feel . Nice finish. Bodes well for this bottling in younger vintages .

60/40 Cabernet/Shiraz. Jammy nose, woodsy feel from oak, black plum, black pepper, espresso. Palate matches with dark fruit and spice, nice balance on the structure, med plus tannins/alcohol/body. Nice crowd pleasing style but a little too fruit forward for my taste.

Good still . Nice nose and mouth . Still full flavored. Enjoy now.

A lovely wine. Cellared at 68 in our basement. My husband opened the bottle and loved it. We still had two glasses left a few days later, sealed with one of those hand vacuum tops. Still a wonderful taste. Tannins had loosened up and left it soft a full of rich dark berries.

ruby color, muted tannins, subtle smoke. was amazing with ribs tonight. delicious. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

The usual berries at first, with a nice peppery, vanilla finish. Truly the best if both varietals.

This is a big wine, 60% cab and 40% shiraz. Popped and poured, and got better after the course of the night. Down to 1 bottle, and wishing I had purchased a few more.

Deeply colored wine with inky purple hues and high viscosity that has legs taking minuets to form and fall. High concentration. Packed aromatically showing notes of blackberry, currant, cherry and plum, with ancillary notes of black licorice, spices, pepper, chocolate caramel bars and flowers. The palate is explosive with flavor and texture. Full bodied with a voluptuous mouthfeel. Tannins are full and ripe. Acidity is moderate-plus and in balance with alcohol and tannins.
