A little passed it’s prime drinking window

This wine uncorked tonight and enjoyed with a chicken pimento cheese croissant ring. This one is showing a little bit of red nitrogenous clay on the nose and palate with brambly black cherry. Finishes with a healthy bit of red licorice and hint of truffle and white pepper. Gonna drink the other one definitely sooner than later. In a really good space right now and don't think it will be going anywhere for at least another couple of years. So …
